The Great Rake

What a great day for a clean-up! On November 12th, over a dozen boys and girls (and some parents, too) collected over 19 bags of leaves from Young Israel's front and back yards! We had a great time and even raised some money, as people sponsored the bags of leaves that we collected. Great job!

Young Israel celebrated Chanukah 5778 with a breakfast on the 5th day of Chanukah. More than 50 people joined together for bagels, and of course, donuts and latkes. We were treated to a Siyum, a wonderful Dvar Torah by Rabbi Seth Cook and a fun game. The kids had a great time with their Chanuka craft, draydels and decorating cookies.

Thank you to all those who attended and helped make this a successful event!
